READ ABOUT ANOTHER OUTRAGEOUS PRISON SENTENCE! CLICK HERE

I read your story on Fightnews.com and it's a real shame that you are doing so much time for a crime that was a true accident. I can only wish and pray that you can stay strong and keep your faith and hopefully with your story going public you will be released soon. I look forward to the next thing I read about you is an article called Free.

Mike

HI BENNIE, MY NAME IS ALPHONSO I WAS JUST READING YOUR ARTICLE AND I AM VERY SORRY THAT THE STATE OF GEORGIA HAVE NOT RELEASED YOU YET.

I THINK YOU WILL DO WELL IN A GYM WHERE YOUR EXPERTISE WILL SHINE,  I HAVE TWO BOYS, AND ONE OF THEM I WOULD LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE IN YOUR GYM.  I THINK ITS SAD THAT AN ACCIDENT COST YOU ONE QUARTER OF YOUR LIFE BEHIND BARS.  I USE TO BE A VERY ROUGH KID WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, AND SOMETIMES YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN SOMETHING LIKE THIS WILL HAPPEN, BUT NOW WE KNOW HOW TO SAY, YOU KEEP THE MONEY, I WILL LEAVE WITH MY FREEDOM. THAT'S A MESSAGE THESE KIDS CAN LEARN FROM YOU BENNIE, DON'T GIVE UP MAN.

I BELIEVE YOU WILL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS, AND IF YOU DO, STICK WITH YOUR GAME PLAN, DON'T LET NO ONE TELL YOU WHAT YOU CANT DO IT.  THEY THOUGHT YOU COULDN'T DO 16 YRS, BUT YOU DID.  I WISH TIME HAD A WAY OF REDEEMING ITSELF, BUT WE KNOW IT DON'T,  YOU CAN'T LIVE YOUR DREAMS THROUGH NO ONE, BUT YOU CAN GUIDE THEM TO THE ROAD OF WHAT'S RIGHT AND WHAT'S WRONG, NOW MIND YOU THEY WILL HAVE TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT TURN OR THE LEFT TURN, YOU ONLY TELL THEM WHAT'S DOWN EACH ROAD,  THEY HAVE TO LIVE THE LIFE.  HOPE TO MEET YOU ONE DAY.

ALPHONSO

First of all I wanna say God Bless you Mr. Heard you made the right choice with God.  Second, I'm a professional Boxer 14-2-2 "Fearless Fernando Hernandez 154lbs from Chicago IL.  I'm the current Illinois State Junior Middleweight Champion & a former a Golden Gloves champion.  I can sort of relate to your story myself.  I was deep in the streets & an orphan who went through the gangs, drugs, women, violence etc. But through the sport of boxing & with  the love of God I changed my life .I am currently a married man ,father of 3 a local (boxing) champion, fitness instructor & a volunteer amateur boxing coach for underprivileged kids here & there .Your story made me realize what's important in life &  that its not always about winning or being a champion but that its more how you Play the game (Life).
Thank you for your further inspiration

Mr. Heard,
In life, one is constantly tested, one must endure the corruption of man. You serving time in prison unjustly unfortunately is a genuine atrocity. It must be hard to live with the fact, that your goals and dreams and the most important thing , your life, was taken from you, but I admire your future goals of helping young people like myself  fulfill their potential. In light of what has happened to you, and that you still dream, and you still hold within your self goals, tells me you are an honorable man, and I wish you sir, the best of luck. I hope justice can be served

I read your story on Fightnews.com and just wanted to tell you to try and stay strong.  I used to manage the fighter Beethavean Scottland, who died recently in New York after an ESPN2 fight.  It was tragic but his family is okay.  He could have used guidance from someone like you.  I hope you will be released soon because there are many others in need.

I am a 29 year old female who lives here in Elberton, GA.  I have signed a couple of petitions to free Mr. Heard, to be exact last summer.  I was a little girl when this happened.  I can remember like it was yesterday.  I can remember seeing Mr. Heard running down Elbert Street, I thought he was so fine!!!  And when the shooting happened it was the talk of the town.  Elberton is such a small town, so word and rumors travel fast.  There's nothing I would like to see more than Mr. Heard released so  that he can start to live his life, and be a grandfather to his 3 beautiful grandchildren.  His daughter and I are friends and she was the one who asked me to sign the petition.  I read about his web-site today in the Elberton Star/Examiner.
I hope that he can soon be released, because he did his debt.  There's no need to continue to hold him there for such along time.  I am going to write to everyone that is listed as a contact to stress to them to please release him.  If more people would do the same, he'll be free.
